Mumbai:The Indo-Australian film links have received a major boost with Bollywood actor, producer and educationist Anupam Kher announcing a series of tie ups with Australia.
Anupam Kher announced this at the end of an Australian tour of his famous Play Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai.
The tie ups will see Anupam Kher, his acting school, and his production company collaborate with some leading Australian film organisations and individuals including famous producer John Winter, Australia's leading Indian film expert and film maker Anupam Sharma and financial consultant Manish Sunderjee.
The tie ups include planning of a branch of Anupam Kher s famous acting school possibly at Fox Studios in Sydney, acceptance to be the first ambassador for Indian International Film Festival and Awards to be held this year and co-production and collaborations with Australian film industry utilizing locations, crew and the producer's rebate.
Speaking from Sydney, Anupam Kher said, I am very pleased with the vibrant and creative support Australia offers to collaborations in media and films.
I look forward to work with leading Australian film makers and institutes on projects which will benefit both countries.
