An online TV channel has launched a film-making contest that is open to everybody. So just go ahead, make a film and win prizes
Here comes the good news for all you guys who are smitten by the cinema bug and wish to see your name roll down in the credits of a movie.
You can take part in a unique film competition for an online TV channel (Nautanki) where you will be provided with a camera and an editing set-up and all you have to do is make a 30-minute long film.
The only catch here is that you have to make the movie within twenty-four hours, not a minute extra or less. And also the theme of the movie has to rotate around one word which you can pick from a list of words provided to you by the team.
Swati Ali, the brain behind the contest says, “The competition is open to everybody. Right from a housewife to a school student, anybody can make a movie and we will provide help.” She said, adding, “A thirteen-year-old is making a movie with us. We are pretty excited about it.”
This contest will not just add a movie to your credit but will also make you win Rs 25,000 if your movie is appreciated by the jury.
The chance to win the cash will be a monthly contest. Sounds good doesn’t it?
“We believe that there is a lot of talent in the city. Through this contest we are trying to provide a platform for people,” Ali added.
