London: Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse will perform at the upcoming Grammy awards through live satellite after immigration officials denied her a visa to the US.
According to contactmusic.com, Winehouse has six nominations but will not be able to enter the US because she was arrested for marijuana possession in Norway last year. Winehouse will also receive her awards through satellite if she wins any.
"Unfortunately, her application for a visa to enter the US has been rejected by the American Embassy in London. Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago. Although disappointed with the decision, she has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery," said her spokesperson.
