Kumbakonam: A court here has adjourned a petition filed against film actress Kushboo for disrespecting Hindu Gods at a recent film launch function in Chennai.

The petition, filed by a Hindu Munnani local functionary, came up for hearing in the Judicial Magistrate Court on the question of maintainability.

The court adjourned the case to Feb 11 after recording the evidence of a photographer who took the photos showing Kushboo sitting cross-leged near the idols of Gods on the dias.
