Poor Shahid Kapur. Just when he was coming to terms with the indifference of one woman - Kareena Kapoor - he’s being almost terrorised by the excessive interest of another woman - a deranged female fan. This young girl, who’s managed to get hold of Shahid’s mobile number, has been inundating him with calls ever since he broke up with Bebo, professing her undying love to him.

While she refuses to give a name, Shahid saved her number just so that he could ignore calls from her in the future. But that’s when this ingenious young lady started calling up Shahid’s secretary and the people who usually are near the actor at some point or the other. Says a surprised friend, “It is shocking how she has the numbers of people normally no outsider would have. She must have done a lot of research on Shahid and the kind of information that she has on him is spooky. She even talks about certain personal things which very few people know about.”

The last straw, however, was when the girl managed to sneak into Shahid’s building last week and reached his apartment in the middle of the night. She even managed to gain entry into the house but was quickly shooed away.

Fortunately, Shahid was not at home at that time. When asked about it, Shahid says, “Yes, initially it was flattering, as any female attention would be. But ever since she reached my house, it has become embarrassing and worrying. We have all stopped taking her calls. Lets see what she does.” The girl is apparently is very young most probably in her early twenties and Shahid has refrained from lodging a police complaint. But the actor’s friends say they are not ruling out taking action against her if she does anything drastic in future.
