Last Saturday night was one of the biggest bashes at Enigma of JW Marriott hotel.

The occasion? A special party in the honour of singer Beyonce Knowles. Even though the media was strictly kept at bay, we managed to get some inside dope on the party.

Our source says, “Beyonce entered the hotel at about 11pm and quickly went to her room to change. To everybody’s surprise she came down draped in a pretty silver saree.” After entering the club she danced away in the special room inside Enigma where she and forty five crew members partied the night away.

Our sources informed us that Beyonce was was allotted a private party area reserved exclusively for her. But contrary to what the hotel staff had thought, Beyonce chose to interact with everybody at the party. The entire club was floored by her dance moves and many even waved at her to which she smiled and waved back.

She requested the DJ to play Bollywood songs and the lady also attempted to do a bhangra-style jig with Daler Mehendi’s ‘Bolo tara rara’ and the ‘Rang De Basanti’ title track.

She also requested the DJ to play songs from her latest album. And to the envy of all women at the party, she was absolutely comfortable in the saree and could manage all kinds of dance moves with it.

Beyonce sipped on a cola and mineral water throughout and she chose not to touch alcohol at all. For dinner, she chose Indian chicken curry with garlic naan. A little birdie says, “When the hotel staff asked her what would she like to eat for dinner, she said ‘chicken curry and thick bread with garlic’. The hotel staff bought her garlic naan.” After partying hard for about three hours she left the hotel at about 2 in the morning.
