Despite a couple of small releases showing a lot of promise at the state's box-office, 'Vinodayathra' continues to be at the top of the Malluwood list. 1. 'Vinodayathra': This pleasure trip has been good for Dileep. His first venture as a hero with director Sathyan Anthikkad is the real super-hit among Vishu releases. 2. 'Time': Suresh Gopi finds yet another hit with favourite director Shaji Kailas. They just tweaked the formula of their filmmaking brand to find success. 3. 'Chhotta Mumbai': Rasheed Anwar, the director of this film, turns out to be the man with the Midas Touch, as his two successive films has become Malluwood megahits. 4. 'Pranayakalam': Debutant director Uday Ananthan makes a love story of the '80s with newcomers and finds a place in this list due to lack of any serious competition. 5. 'Akasham': Comedian Harisree Asokan attempts to play a serious role as the lead character in this film directed by A.K. Sundardas. The film has had limited success due to its poor script. | |||||||
