Celeb diet
Height: 5 feet 5 ½ inches
Weight: 52
kgs
Breakfast
I kick-start my day with a cup of green tea,
followed by an omelette made of three egg-whites, a whole-wheat toast and four
almonds (preferably soaked overnight). I round it all up with a glass of milk.
Lunch
I eat a bowl of fruit at least half an hour before
lunch. My lunch consists of dal, two veggies, a dish made of chicken or soya,
two whole-wheat chapattis and a salad.
Mid-meal snack
I prefer to snack on something healthy,
like soya chaklis, digestive biscuits, fruit, some corn titbits or salad. But I
indulge in some heavy snacks on Sundays - the day that I have reserved for
bingeing!
Dinner
It starts off with a salad, and then I have a
fish or chicken curry and brown rice.
Exercise routine
I exercise for one hour every day, six
days a week, wherein I alternate between pilates, cardio and weights.
Naini’s recommendation
Breakfast
Start the day with lemon, honey and water instead of green tea. A vegetable
juice with lots of lemon in it should be eaten before the egg-white omelette and
whole wheat toast. This will make the digestion of the egg and the toast easier.
Avoid the almonds and milk.
Lunch
Start with a salad made of raw vegetables. Also
choose only one protein - either the dal, chicken or soya. Combining too many
proteins together causes indigestion.
Mid-meal snack
An ideal mid-meal snack would be nuts.
Dinner
Kim should add vegetable soup as well as
vegetables to her dinner. Fifty percent of the food should consist of
vegetables.
Exercise routine
Cardio exercises should be done every
day, pranayam should be added to the daily exercise, and weights shouldn’t be
done more than thrice a week. Also plenty of water and sunlight should be part
of her daily routine.
