Late last year, on the occasion of the launch of his biography Still Reading Khan at the Taj Land's End, Shahrukh Khan turned up with wife Gauri and good friend Karan Johar in this super sleek BMW convertible.

While the photographers were in a tizzy about the 'Don' superstar and the fact that his wife was driving the car, the BMW itself was quite an attention grabber and stole the show for car fans. 

The super roadster is from the BMW 6 series and is a classic four-seater. The flagship of the coupe range from BMW, the six series effortlessly blends convex and concave surfaces to derive a look that is nothing short of spectacular.

The performance of the car matches its looks as well; it's quick in the 630ci guise, rapid in the 645ci guise and devastating in the M6 form.

There was even a rumor suggesting that the Beverly Hills dealer of BMW had to keep an inventory of more than a hundred cars to satisfy customer's choices.

BMW used the 6 series nameplate in 2003 after a gap of a decade and a half but proved to the world that they are pretty much the best in the business.  

And as for Gauri, Shahrukh and Karan, where do you think they took the roadster to? To Amitabh Bachchan's place, no less, where the Big B was bringing in his birthday at midnight that night in his bungalow Jalsa. Now that's called going over-the-top, isn't it?
