After "Baghban" and "Baabul", producer Ravi Chopra casts Amitabh Bachchan for
the third time in "Bhootnath", which will also feature Juhi Chawla in a pivotal
role.
The film, which revolves around a man (Amitabh) and a child,
will be the superstar's third film in two years where his main interaction is
with a child. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Black" and Apoorva Lakhia's "Ek
Ajnabee", too, the Big B has acted with child artistes.
"It's (the film)
an interesting concept, and I couldn't say no to Ravi. We've known each other
from the time I did 'Zameer' for his banner more than three decades ago. Of
course, 'Baghban' and 'Baabul' have cemented my relationship with the Chopras,"
Amitabh told IANS.
"Bhootnath", planned as a year-end quickie, will also
bring Amitabh together with Juhi, who has never worked with him except for once
playing his daughter - in Suneil Darshan's "Ek Rishta".
"Bhootnath" is
being directed by Chopra's associate Vivek Sharma.
